ARTISTS-IN-SCHOOLS
Fifth and seventh graders at Moncure School will be immersed in the rich history and culture of the Hispanic art form of flamenco dance. Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana will weave core curricula including ELA, history, and social studies into performance and classroom workshops. As students learn the skills and technique of Flamenco, they’ll develop poise, social skills, and perseverance.

This residency is powered by an anonymous community member who believes the arts save lives.
